Fern Bacon Project Green Team

2012 Project Green Funding Allocations
$5 Million of Redevelopment Funds Were Awarded to Fifteen Schools

Fourteen 黄色视频 schools and McClaskey Adult Center were allocated bond funding for green school projects at an event at Rosemont High School Thursday night. 黄色视频 launched Project Green this year to add a real-world application to classroom instruction about the environment and sustainable living. Campuses across the district were encouraged to form student 鈥済reen teams鈥 to conduct 鈥済reen audits鈥 of school facilities.

Our curriculum and resources promote all five food groups, the importance of breakfast, and encourage physical activity. Worksite wellness toolkit, Parent Education toolkit, K-12 grade nutrition education curriculum (aligned to Common Core State Standards), Adult nutrition education booklets, various nutrition education tip sheets for children and adults, and online interactive health education tools.
