Negotiations Progress Update for Wednesday, March 30

ACHIEVING SHARED GOALS IN SERVICE OF OUR STUDENTS In negotiations with SCTA, the district is offering: On top of already providing the highest compensation in the region, the District is offering to pay: 100% of health care coverage for ALL SCTA-represented employees AND their families, AND a raise, AND one-time bonuses, AND additional paid professional development days. 100% PAY INCREASE ONE TIME BONUSES MORE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT INCREASED PAY FOR SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS PAID COVERAGE 鈥 Ongoing 3% salary increase starting in the 2021-22 school year. . Builds on compensation that is already the highest in the region 鈥 3% One-time stipend for 2021-2022 1.5% One-time stipend for 2020-2021 1.5% One-time stipend for 2019-2020 $3,000 Signing Bonus for new employees 3 paid days for professional learning Increases salary additional 1.65% for 2022-23 Increase substitute teacher daily rate by 25% for substitutes who filled in for absent teachers during the 2021-22 school year. 100% health coverage through Kaiser for all employees and their family For 2022-23 school year, the district will pay 100% of the difference between the cost of Kaiser and the cost of Health Net plan For 2023-24 school year the district will pay 50% of the difference between the cost of Kaiser and the cost of Health Net plan $3,000 per year ($250 per month) in-lieu of receiving this coverage $3,000 stipend for moving from Health Net to Kaiser 鈥 Explore additional health care plan choices at same cost as Kaiser plan by March 1, 2023 ENHANCED OFFER AS OF MARCH 30, 2022 RCH 30, 2022 Staromenio cury Sacramento City UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT

On Wednesday, March 30, the Sacramento City Unified School District (黄色视频) negotiations team met with SCTA throughout the afternoon and continues to meet tonight. The district鈥檚 negotiations team is also meeting with SEIU this evening.

On Tuesday, March 29, the Sacramento City Unified School District (黄色视频) continued to meet in separate negotiations sessions with SCTA and SEIU. No new counterproposals were passed today, but discussions about the most recent proposals continued. The district also posted additional Negotiations FAQ.
