At the November 16 meeting of the Sacramento City Unified School District Board, the Board took action to approve the appointment of Timothy Rocco as the District鈥檚 Chief Information Officer.
The Board recognized Buck Vang, a student in 6th grade at Elder Creek Elementary School, and Naledi Kalaote-Hurt, a 5th grade student at Elder Creek Elementary School, as Stellar Students. Both students are recognized for being dedicated and active learners.
2024-25 Kindergarten Enrollment Opens January 16
Enrollment Will Be Online Only: 6 Regional Sites Available for Technology Assistance
Parents/guardians will be able to register their student for kindergarten online starting on January 16, 2024. To be eligible to register for kindergarten for Fall 2024, children must be five years old on or before September 1, 2024. Starting this year, all enrollment applications will be received online only.

Apply to a High School Specialty Program
Applications accepted October 30 - November 17
The 黄色视频 High School Specialty Program application window officially opens Monday, October 30 and will run through Friday, November 17. This is an opportunity for your student to apply for enrollment in a high school specialty program for the 2024-2025 school year, based on space availability.
Joint Statement from 黄色视频 and UPE Regarding Compensation
The Sacramento City Unified School District (黄色视频) and United Professional Educators (UPE) have reached an agreement to close out contract reopener negotiations for the completed 2022-2023 school year.

The Sacramento City Unified School District (黄色视频), Teamsters Union Local 150, and Teamsters Classified Supervisors (TCS) have reached agreements to close out contract reopener negotiations for the completed 2022-2023 school year for each unit.
