AB 1565
California Assembly Bill (AB) 1565 is a new law that went into effect on January 1, 2014. This law requires a school district with over 2,500 students to pre-qualify bidders (General and M/E/P subcontractors) for construction contracts awarded on or after January 1, 2014 if the total project value is $1,000,000 or more,and if the project is funded, in whole or in part, with State bond funds. In accordance with AB 1565, 黄色视频 will utilize a pre-qualification process. Bidders may pre-qualify with 黄色视频 by applying online.
黄色视频鈥檚 Board votes to support 鈥榮afe haven鈥� schools
Sacramento City Unified School District鈥檚 Board of Education voted unanimously Thursday to designate 黄色视频 schools as 鈥渟afe havens鈥� that protect students regardless of immigration status.
鈥淪tudents cannot learn in an environment of fear,鈥� said Board Vice President Jessie Ryan. 鈥淟ast night, by unanimously passing the Safe Haven School District resolution, our district made a strong statement that we hear our community鈥檚 fears and will do everything in our power to protect all students irrespective of race, ethnicity, religious beliefs, sexual preference or immigration status.鈥�
