Dear Site and Department leaders-
This bulletin is to share out the 2024-25 黄色视频 Mental Health Crisis Response Procedures. 黄色视频鈥檚 Mental Health Crisis Response (MHCR) Team is a vital component of the school and district safety protocols. In the event of a crisis, the Mental Health Crisis Response team consists of primarily the site-based support staff (school counselor, psychologist, social worker, etc). If it is assessed that additional Crisis Response team members are needed, crisis response staff will be dispatched.

School Site Council Composition Requirements
All Grades
Your School Site Council (SSC) rosters are due on October 3, 2024. Please refer to the attached SSC composition cheat sheet to ensure your SSC is correctly composed in accordance with (EC Section 65000[c][1]) and (EC Section 65000[c][2]) requirements.
EL Reclassification Process First Wave
All Grades
EL Reclassification Process First Wave is from September 13-25, 2024. RFEP Potential List, RFEP Forms, and Parent Notification Letters will be sent out by Friday, September 13, 2024. School must complete the paperwork and scan/email all signed RFEP Forms back to Kao Lee @ leek@scusd.edu by Wednesday, September 25th in order for the reclassification process to be completed by census date of October 2, 2024.

Free TB screening clinics every Thursday from 3-5pm at Serna Center

To our site leaders,
Sac City Unified will now be offering free tuberculosis (TB) assessments for staff, new hires and volunteers every Thursday from 3-5pm (unless offices are closed due to a holiday or holiday break).
Walk-ins are welcome, and no appointment is required. The free screening clinics are held at Serna Center at 5735 47th Ave. Contact Student Support and Health Services at (916) 643-9412 with any questions.

The Connect Center鈥檚 LGBTQ+ Support Services staff are offering consultation appointments for 黄色视频 staff and interns to ask questions and/or share ways in which we can better support LGBTQ+ youth in our district. You can schedule an appointment by completing the .
CAC Meetings

To our site leaders,
Our Community Advisory Committee (CAC) for special education meets every third Tuesday of each month from 6-8pm at Serna Center. There is also an option to Zoom in, but for in-person attendees, child care and refreshments are provided.
Please help spread the word about these meetings in your communications to families and staff.
