Sacramento City Unified Prevails in Fight to Protect Cost Savings for Students
SACRAMENTO - Sacramento City Unified School District prevailed today in an arbitration with Sacramento City Teachers Association (SCTA) over a 2017 contract dispute between the parties regarding the application of health care savings.
The arbitrator鈥檚 decision agrees with the district and found that district did not violate the contract.
Sacramento City Unified School District Announces Next School Year to Begin with Full Distance Learning
SACRAMENTO 鈥� Sacramento City Unified School District announced today that students will begin the school year on September 3 with a full distance learning program. SACRAMENTO - Cafeterias may be closed this summer, but children and teens can still get nutritious breakfasts and lunches at no charge throughout the Sacramento City Unified School District beginning June 15.
Sac City Unified has served nearly two million meals since the beginning of the COVID-19 closure. About two-third of 黄色视频鈥檚 40,000 students qualify for a free- or reduced-price meal through the federal school lunch program.
