The Student Support and Health Services Department would like to invite parents and caregivers to participate in the upcoming Tobacco Use Prevention Education Academy – an interactive, three-part virtual series where you will have an opportunity to gain knowledge and healing centered tools to support tobacco prevention, intervention and cessation. The sessions have been postponed and will now be hosted on March 22nd, April 5th, and April 19th from 6:00pm to 7:30pm via Zoom. 

Participation is FREE and fun prizes will be raffled off throughout the series!

SELPA Local Plan Assurances

There are currently 23 Federal and Local Assurances to which each SELPA and member Local Education Agency (LEA) must adhere.  In approving the Local Plan, SELPA and each member LEA agrees that they will uphold each of these assurances, and they must cite the location of each corresponding local policy and procedure.

Negotiations to Recover Lost School Days & Instructional Minutes

Sacramento, CA - The Sacramento City Unified School District (»ÆÉ«ÊÓƵ) and the Sacramento City Teachers Association (SCTA) have taken an important step toward reaching an agreement on how to recover school days and instructional time that were lost due to the strike, which began March 23rd.
