One key aspect of the LCAP process is the engagement of all community members. Staff, teachers, administrators, bargaining partners, community members, parents/guardians and students 鈥 including foster youth, homeless, and those from low-income and English learner communities 鈥 are to be consulted to provide feedback on the plan.

Comprehensive Sexual Health Education
California Healthy Youth Act (CHYA)

Overview

California state law, the , requires that comprehensive sexual health education and HIV prevention education be provided to students at least once in middle school and once in high school, starting in 7th grade. Instruction must encourage students to communicate with parents, guardians or other trusted adults about human sexuality. Instruction must be medically accurate, age鈥恆ppropriate and inclusive of all students. It must include the following:

7-11 Committee (2024)

Overview

The Sacramento City Unified School District鈥檚 7-11 committee advises the Board of Education on the reuse, repurposing and disposition of District properties not needed for school purposes.  The 黄色视频 7-11 Committee proceedings and its deliberations are open to the public.

Implementation Grant Requirements

Implementation grants are for new community schools, or for the expansion or continuation of existing community schools. Implementation Grant funding ranges from $100,000-$500,000/year per school (depending on school enrollment) for 5 years for districts that already have community schools.
