Verification of Employment and Salary

Overview

Sacramento City Unified School District has contracted with The Work Number, which is an automated service that provides instant employment and income verification. Through the use of a touch-tone telephone or the Internet, this fast, secure service verifies employment verbally and/or in writing when applying for a mortgage or loan, for reference checking, leasing an apartment, or any other instance where proof of employment or income is needed. You benefit from having control of the process – authorizing others access to your information.

»ÆÉ«ÊÓƵ’s Induction program will provide Participating Teachers individualized, job-embedded support in the first years of their teaching profession so as to increase the efficacy and retention of our new teachers. In doing so, Participating Teachers will also demonstrate progress towards mastery of the California Standards for the Teaching Profession so as to effectively serve our diverse student body, their families and our community.

The Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA), also known Every Child Succeeds Act (ESSA) provides benefits to low-income students enrolled in non-profit, private or not-for-profit school sites.  Public school districts are required to provide services to eligible private school students which are equitable to those provided to qualified public school students in the same district.  For more information about the Equitable Services to Private Schools program, please contact us at 643-9051.
