Post Types

Overview

In the most basic explanation, post types are a way to categorize content on your site. Using post types correctly can help with the following:

Subterm #1

Overview

Here is the Overview of the first subterm. When you click on the title or the 鈥渞ead more,鈥 you will be directed to the subterm itself, just as you would if you clicked on Subterm #1 in the left hand navigation menu.

Three Columns with Pods Below

Overview

The two and three column templates are great for displaying lots of posts that all have similar content. When using these templates, make sure that the titles, subtitles, and teasers of each post are similar lengths. Consistent use of images or videos is also important for these templates.

Pods are moved below on the two and three column template displays. Use the Preview button in the bottom right hand corner of your screen to see how the term page will look to logged out visitors.
