TK-8 Open Enrollment Starts February 5
The 黄色视频 Open Enrollment application for incoming Transitional Kindergarten through 8th Grade opens Monday, February 5 at 8:00 a.m. and will run through Friday, February 23, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. This is an opportunity for your student to apply for enrollment to a different school than their neighborhood school for the 2024-2025 school year, based on space availability.

At the February 1 meeting of the Sacramento City Unified School District Board, the Board recognized Stellar Student Melanie Raya, a student at Hollywood Park Elementary School. Melanie is a member of the Hollywood Park Elementary School Leadership Club and plays on the school鈥檚 basketball team. Staff at Melanie鈥檚 school describe her as hard-working, trustworthy, responsible, respectful, and say she is a great role model for her fellow students.
Joint Statement from 黄色视频 and SCTA on Two-Year Contract Agreement
The Sacramento City Unified School District (黄色视频) and the Sacramento City Teachers Association (SCTA) have reached agreement on a two-year contract that runs through June 30, 2025.

Black Parent Involvement Day is an opportunity to visit your student鈥檚 school, meet their teachers and send a strong message to your student that you want them to succeed academically. Black Parallel School Board is hosting a virtual parent training for this event on Thursday, February 15 at 6pm.

At the February 15 meeting of the Sacramento City Unified School District Board, the Board recognized Sam Brannan Middle School students Sabrina Mallette and Bella Pedroza as Stellar Students. Sabrina is recognized by school staff for being kind, hardworking, creative, and caring for her school community. Bella is a straight A student with a passion for learning, excellent citizenship, and classwork that consistently exceeds expectations.
