We hope your week is going well preparing your sites for students鈥� return, and to our school leaders who have already welcomed students back, we hope it鈥檚 going great so far!

Infinite Campus Updates

You, your staff, and families can now see roster information for the 2024-2025 school year as of Tuesday, August 13. Communications will send a back-to-school newsletter to all families through ParentSquare to notify parents and guardians of this later today on Wednesday, August 14. Today鈥檚 newsletter messaging can be found in your folder if you want to copy/paste any language to make your school site communications efforts easier.

Parents and guardians will be prompted to complete the Infinite Campus Annual Update, now available through their IC Parent Portal, and be asked to confirm their contact information, sign annual releases, including the review of the Parent & Student Rights Handbook, and confirm demographic information for their student. Flyers are coming to your school sites that can be backpacked home about completing the Annual Update, and translated digital flyers are available now in your . Non-household relationships (e.g., emergency contacts) can now be updated in the IC Parent Portal. Office staff will receive instructions on how to approve these requests next week.

ParentSquare Updates

Please continue to use the 鈥淚ncoming鈥� filter in today to contact families enrolled at your site for the 2024-2025 school year until we provide an update tomorrow that students have been marked 鈥淎ctive鈥�. (In case you missed it, this Principal Bulletin explains the 鈥淚ncoming鈥� filter.) Tech Services said the switchover from 鈥淚ncoming鈥� to showing a student鈥檚 2024-2025 grade level in ParentSquare will occur tonight, and we will be testing the sync first thing tomorrow morning so we can let you know that it is working.

School administrators can take the self-paced to begin using ParentSquare鈥檚 two-way engagement tools and messaging features.

We have also put together an Updating resource to help you know who to contact for assistance.

Teachers can log into now and see their classes and classroom rosters. After you receive tomorrow鈥檚 ParentSquare update from us on the data sync, teachers will also be able to message their students鈥� families who are currently scheduled in their classes. We encourage teachers to complete the self-paced 30-minute to get acquainted with ParentSquare鈥檚 features and offerings. Families are also now able to see their students鈥� schedules in ParentSquare as well as the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.

LCFF Updates

The LCFF application will go live on Thursday, August 15 and be available for families to complete by October 31. We have placed flyers with translations available, social media graphics, and a messaging template in your .
